We read the change notices so you don't have to.
MSP Change Desk is an independent publication for managed service providers who run Microsoft 365 for their clients.
The problem
Microsoft announces a steady stream of changes across Microsoft 365, Entra, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune through Message Center posts, roadmap entries, blog posts, and docs updates. Most don't matter to you. A few have hard deadlines, and when one of those slips past, it shows up as an outage at a client and an unplanned weekend for your techs.
What we do
Every week the MSP Change Desk team reviews Microsoft's public change channels, picks the changes that will actually affect small and mid-sized business tenants, and turns each one into an action pack:
- A plain-English summary with the verified deadline and who's affected
- A read-only detection script you can run per tenant
- A client notice template and a PSA ticket template
- Calendar reminders so the deadline doesn't sneak up on you
How we work
- Sources first. Every date and claim links to Microsoft's own documentation, blog, or Message Center post.
- No guessing. When Microsoft hasn't confirmed a detail, we mark it UNVERIFIED and say what's missing.
- Read-only by default. Detection scripts never change a tenant. Fixes are your call, made in your own change window.
- Vendor-neutral. We don't sell licenses, tools, or services, and we aren't affiliated with Microsoft.
